Lezlie Jane

Constellation Park & Marine Reserve is a renovation project that converted a barren 2,000 ft long concrete boulevard into an educational and inspirational park.

Lezlie Jane conceptualized the project and managed it through design phase, public process, funding, agency approvals, and construction. She chaired the Beach Drive Shoreline Parks Committee which served as the community steering committee for the project.

The art in Constellation Park & Marine Reserve promotes education and conservation. It addresses Puget Sound intertidal habitat, the Northern Hemispheres constellations, related mythology, and environmental conservation. It ties the heavens and the underwater world together at the spectacular waterfront edge.
